Weirton Moose Lodge 688 and the West Virginia University Medical Center focused on breast cancer awareness throughout the month of October. In an effort to become more involved with the community, those with the lodge and Administrator Rich Finley presented the medical center with scarves. The scarves were made with love and represent the caring its members have for community members fighting breast cancer, officials explained. Taking part in the event were, from left, Moose members Signa Finley, Alana McKitrick, Julie Dennis and Dawn Ohalek. The lodge is next looking to hand-craft lap blankets for patients when they must undergo chemotherapy treatments.
