Jannik Sinner has added one more Big Title to his trophy cabinet. On November 2, the Italian ace went past Felix Auger-Aliassime 6-4, 7-6(4) to secure the Paris Masters for the first time in his career.

The win has helped him to reclaim his World No.1 ranking from Carlos Alcaraz , whose campaign in the last Masters 1000 of the season ended in a complete disaster as he lost his opening-round match in three sets against Cameron Norrie . Alcaraz had dethroned Sinner for the first time after denying his second consecutive US Open title.

When asked about his ranking at the press conference, Sinner talked about how he focuses only on his matches and maximizing his potential, and that he doesn’t pay much heed to the rankings table.
