NEW BEDFORD — It’s time for voters to make their picks for local government .

In the Nov. 4 municipal election, New Bedford will pick five at-large members of the City Council, six ward councilors, three School Committee members, and an assessor-at-large.

If you’re only catching up with election season now, you’re not the only one. A shockingly low 5.77% of voters turned out for the preliminary election in October. But there’s still time to get caught up.
