A new era begins Monday night at Mizzou Arena, as Missouri women’s basketball will open its 2025-26 season with a matchup against Central Arkansas to officially begin Kellie Harper’s first season in charge of the program.

Harper became the fifth head coach in program history when she was hired to replace Robin Pingeton in March. The Tigers ’ new head coach previously led Western Carolina, NC State, Missouri State and, most recently, Tennessee.

Missouri went 14-18 last season with a 3-13 mark in SEC play. Mizzou has not been to the NCAA Tournament since 2019, when program Hall of Famer Sophie Cunningham was still on campus.
