Donald Trump has said he feels “very badly” for the Royal Family after the Palace chose to strip Prince Andrew of his titles and royal residence.
Andrew – who is now only allowed to use the surname Mountbatten-Windsor – is now a private citizen with no royal status.
His dramatic fall from grace stems from his ties to late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and the publication of Epstein’s self-described “sex slave” Virginia Giuffre’s posthumous memoirs earlier this month.
The book restated her previous claims that Andrew had sex with her on three separate occasions when she was a teenager, though the former royal denies all accusations of wrongdoing.
