LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Lexington police have arrested someone in a shooting investigation.

Officers say they got to the scene on Boxwood Drive around 3 a.m. Monday morning. That’s near New Circle & Georgetown.

The victim was taken to the hospital. They are expected to survive.

Officers charged a suspect with assault. We don’t have their name yet.

The scene has cleared.
