British comedian Jimmy Carr's forthcoming film Fackham Hall has already got fans in a frenzy after the trailer dropped.

Set in England during the early 1900s, the movie follows a murder mystery and has been billed as a blend of Downton Abbey and Monty Python.

The parody centres on Eric Noone (portrayed by Ben Radcliffe), who secures employment at an eccentric country estate known as Fackham Hall.

Climbing the social ladder, he begins a forbidden love affair with the manor's mistress Rose Davenport (Thomasin McKenzie).
