Conservation International, a global nonprofit organization that works with communities, governments and corporations, warns us that “(d)eforestation and climate change are destroying some of the world’s most important forest ecosystems from Amazon to the Cardamom Mountains.” In contrast, Donald Trump notes that America has massive forests, but he wants, as he explains, to be “freeing up our forests so we are allowed to take down trees and make a lot of money.” And, he argues, those who oppose me are, simply, “environmental lunatics.”
As long as Trump is in power, we and the world are in serious jeopardy.
