An investigation has been initiated in connection with a multi-state outbreak of Listeria monocytogenes infections, including one illness in Ohio.
According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the investigation is being conducted by themselves, the U.S. Department of Agriculture Food Safety and Inspection Service (USDA FSIS) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
The investigation connects to several recall notices affecting prepared pasta meals sold at stores across the United States.
