CARY, N.C. (WTVD) -- North Carolina Courage ended the 2025 NWSL regular season with a 3-2 win over Gotham FC in front of a sold-out and record-breaking crowd Sunday evening.
The team broke the club's attendance record, with 11,170 fans in attendance for the big that had playoff implications.
The match also gave the Courage a total season attendance of 107,931, which set a new season record.
Despite the win, Louisville's 1-0 win over Bay FC mathematically eliminated the Courage from playoff contention.
The Courage ended the 2025 season in ninth place in the standings and a record of 9W-9L-8D.
