COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Julian Sayin has continued to light up defenses ever since Ohio State let him loose and now he’s in the Heisman Trophy conversation .
The Buckeyes’ 38-14 provided the perfect stage for the first-year starter to have his true coming-out party. With the world watching, Sayin completed all but three of his 23 passes for 316 yards and four touchdowns. He’s also turning himself into a Pro Football Focus darling with yet another week with a grade of 90 or higher, reaching that for the third time in four games. His 92.2 was the highest of any player on either side of the ball.
