India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) to provide free doorstep Digital Life Certificate (DLC) services to pensioners under the Employees’ Pension Scheme, 1995.

The MoU was exchanged between Shri R. Viswesvaran, MD & CEO of IPPB, and Shri Ramesh Krishnamurthi, Central Provident Fund Commissioner, during EPFO’s 73rd Foundation Day. Union Labour Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya attended the event as Chief Guest, alongside senior officials from the Ministry of Labour & Employment, EPFO, and IPPB.

Through this collaboration, IPPB will use its vast network of over 1.65 lakh post offices and 3 lakh+ postal service providers equipped with biometric-enabled devices to help pensioners submit their life ce
