A Massachusetts dad won big with not one, but eight lottery tickets for the same game — one of which he gave to his son.
Eugene Girard bought eight Mass Cash tickets with the same set of numbers ahead of the midday drawing on Friday, Oct. 24, according to ABC affiliate WCVB , CBS affiliate WBZ and the Fall River Reporter .
The numbers Eugene chose for the tickets, which were purchased at Pam's Market in Norwood, included some “sentimental” selections. They also happened to be lucky.
