A 23-year old man from Liverpool was told to take paracetamol following a visit to his GP, but has now been diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer.
Described as a "fit and healthy" man, Kyle Kennedy was told he had swollen glands when visiting his GP to raise his concerns after first feeling unwell last August,
He had developed pain and swelling in his neck, along with night sweats. Kyle was advised his symptoms were likely caused by swollen glands and was told to take paracetamol.
However, when he woke one morning with a swollen face, he realised that something was seriously wrong, reported Liverpool ECHO .
After undergoing a series of hospital tests, Kyle was diagnosed with stage four diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL).
