JOHNSON COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - Several agencies responded to an ATV crash on Nov. 1.
It happened on Ramey Branch Road, off KY 172, at 11:23 p.m.
The crash occurred several miles up a hill on an old logging road.
The ATV reportedly went over a hillside at 400 feet, resulting in both the driver and passenger being injured.
Agencies on scene were delayed due to the weather and road conditions, and the remote location of the ATV.
Specialized ATVs were used alongside rope technicians to reach the remote area.
Several officials hiked through the rugged terrain to locate and assist the injured driver and passenger.
Both individuals were transported to Paintsville ARH for medical assistance.
