The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) launched a sharp criticism against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led city government on Monday, alleging complete failure in addressing the severe air pollution crisis in the national capital. AAP leaders claimed that while Delhi chokes, BJP ministers were preoccupied with election campaigning in Bihar.

Delhi state president Saurabh Bharadwaj stated that the alarming pollution levels have become life-threatening for children, citing that a citizens’ group, Warrior Moms, has written to the Health Minister about the issue. He questioned the absence of Delhi’s Health Minister, who he said has been in Bihar for several days during what he termed a health emergency.
