DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - Crews rushed to extinguish a house fire in Decatur Sunday night.

The Decatur Fire Department was called to the 4000 block of N. Constant View Dr. around 5:30 p.m.

They were met with heavy fire and smoke showing from a two-story home. Crews were able to search the home, get the fire put out and provide ventilation to the home quickly.

The fire was contained before it could spread throughout the whole house.

No injuries were reported. The Decatur Fire Department did not say whether anyone was home at the time of the fire.

The cause is under investigation.
