The Los Angeles Clippers are looking to stay perfect at home in the early part of the season when they receive a visit from the Miami Heat on Monday.
The Clippers improved to 3-0 in their own building with a 126-124 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday.
The Heat, in turn, will enter off a 130-120 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday night in their first of a back-to-back in Southern California.
Kawhi Leonard gave the Clippers their victory over the Pelicans when he fired off a pump-fake 20-foot jumper at the buzzer to break a late tie. Leonard finished with a season-high 34 points as he shot 11 of 16 (68.8%) from the floor and was 5 of 8 from 3-point range.
James Harden added 24 points for Los Angeles after going 4 of 13 from 3-point range, while producing a season-best
