The schedules, pairings and state semifinals sites are set for the Ohio High School Athletic Association girls and boys soccer state tournaments, which are this week.

Greater Akron is sending four soccer teams to state — the Hudson and Hoban girls, and the CVCA and Aurora boys .

The girls state semifinals are Tuesday, Nov. 4 and the boys state semifinals are Wednesday, Nov. 5, as all of the semis will be played at sites across the state. The winners advance to the state championship matches this weekend at Historic Crew Stadium in Columbus.

This year marks the 50th annual boys state tournament and the 41st annual girls state tournament. Last year, the OHSAA expanded from three to five divisions for both girls and boys soccer.
