With the Los Angeles Dodgers defeating the Toronto Blue Jays in the World Series on Saturday night, Major League Baseball has officially entered the offseason. On Sunday, Rawlings announced its annual Gold Glove Award winners, honoring the league’s top defensive players from both the American and National Leagues.

For the San Diego Padres , right fielder Fernando Tatis Jr. added more hardware to his growing résumé, winning his second career Gold Glove Award. Tatis Jr. edged out finalists Sal Frelick of the Milwaukee Brewers and Corbin Carroll of the Arizona Diamondbacks to claim the National League honor.
