A self-described “socialist socialite” is getting mocked mercilessly online for failing to recognize legendary actor Wallace Shawn’s most famous roles — after meeting him to campaign for Zohran Mamdani .

Ella Devi, 18, sparked immediate scorn when she posted a selfie with the 81-year-old star of stage and screen in Manhattan on Sunday — but only acknowledged him as “the actor who plays Dr. Sturgis” in the CBS show “Young Sheldon.”
