The drunk driver involved in the deadly accident in Jaipur, where he rammed his truck into several vehicles killing at least 19 people and injuring dozens, had an argument with a car driver just minutes before the crash, police said on Monday as the probe deepened. Senior officers clarified that brake failure was not the cause of the crash and confirmed that the driver was intoxicated.
The rashly driven dumper truck ploughed into at least 17 vehicles, leaving 19 people dead and dozens injured. Bodies were strewn across the road, mangled cars lined the highway, and several motorbikes were crushed under the dumper's wheels following the horrific incident.
