Six people have been arrested for immigration offences in Warwickshire . Police were involved in a major crackdown in October.
Officers from Warwickshire Police were joined by the National Crime Agency (NCA) for Operation Machinize. It targeted cash-heavy businesses often used to hide criminal activity, aiming to disrupt money laundering.
Together, they carried out raids on several nail bars, vape shops, and takeaways across Warwick and Leamington Spa . Teams recovered illegal vapes and tobacco valued at more than £2,000.
Officers also arrested six individuals for immigration offences and took them in for questioning. One premises was issued a health and safety warning, according to Warwickshire Police .
