WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) - One person was seriously injured following a shooting in south Wichita on Monday. It happened around 3:30 a.m. in the 2100 block of S. Broadway.

The Wichita Police Department said officers located a 33-year-old man with a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital in serous condition.

The department said the shooting is an isolated incident and that there is no threat to the community.
