The Election Commission of India (ECI) has rolled out a robust enforcement strategy for the upcoming General Election to the Legislative Assembly of Bihar, 2025, along with bye-elections in eight assembly constituencies.

With the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) now in full effect, state and union territory governments have been instructed to ensure stringent compliance to maintain a level playing field.

To bolster vigilance, the ECI has deployed 824 flying squads across Bihar. These squads are tasked with responding to complaints reported through the C-VIGIL app within a strict 100-minute timeframe, ensuring swift action against any electoral malpractices.
