Nebraska football head coach Matt Rhule confirmed sophomore quarterback Dylan Raiola will miss the remainder of the 2025 season with a lower leg injury.

According to ESPN, Raiola has a broken fibula.

Raiola suffered the injury while being sacked during the third quarter in the Huskers' 21- 17 loss to USC on Saturday. Trainers helped Raiola off the field, and he did not return to the game.

Raiola was 10 of 15, throwing for 91 yards and one touchdown before the injury.

Freshman quarterback TJ Lateef took over for Raiola after he exited the game. TJ Lateef was five of seven passing for seven yards. Lateef also had six carries for 18 yards.
