The Lakemore Police Department and the Summit County Medical Examiner's Office are investigating the death of a 34-year-old man Nov. 2, Gary Guenther, chief investigator for the medical examiner's office, said.
Police determined the victim was at a residence in the 2500 block of Frank Street where he got involved in an altercation with the suspect and was stabbed multiple times at about 12:15 a.m., Guenther reported.
The victim was able to return to his residence in the 1500 block of Lake Road where he reportedly collapsed. Emergency medical services responded to the scene where the victim was pronounced dead at 12:38 a.m., Guenther said.
Further updates will be given once the autopsy has been completed.
