After nearly 30 years, a major cable network is rebranding — changing its iconic name and logo.
MSNBC will change its name to MS Now beginning Nov. 15, amid a transition from NBCUniversal to a new media company called Versant.
According to DEADLINE , MS Now is among the Comcast cable networks being spun off into the new Versant company, which is still owned by Comcast.
NBCUniversal will not be under Versant, but will be retained by Comcast.
In an announcement last week, the network said its new name stands for “my source for news, opinion, and the world,” adding the move “gives us the freedom to chart our own path forward.”
