ROCKVILLE, Md. — Three people are in the hospital following a stabbing in Montgomery County on Monday morning. Montgomery County Police officers are still investigating exactly what happened.
Officers were called to the area of Crabbs Branch Way and Indian Head Drive near the Redland Crossing Homeowners Association for a report of a stabbing around 9:20 a.m. When police got to the scene, they found three people suffering from stab wounds. A spokesperson for the department says the injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening. All three people were transported to the hospital for treatment. Their current conditions are not yet known.
Investigators say a person stabbed two family members and a good Samaritan who tried to intervene.
