A shocking case of gang rape has come forward from Tamil Nadu, where a college student was allegedly abducted and sexually assaulted by three men near Coimbatore International Airport on Sunday, November 2. The accused are currently on the run, and police have launched a massive hunt for the accused.

The incident took place at around 11 pm when the student, who is pursuing her degree at a private college in Coimbatore, was talking to her male friend inside a parked car in a secluded area behind the airport.

Reportedly, the trio attacked her friend and forcibly dragged the victim to another location and sexually assaulted her. Meanwhile, her male friend, identified as Vineeth, who sustained serious injuries, reached Peelamedu police station and alerted the cops, IANS reported.
