LAWRENCE — Kansas basketball coach Bill Self told reporters Friday that Darryn Peterson practiced that day, and was full speed, after missing the exhibition game against Fort Hays State.

Is the freshman guard 100% healthy? Self would lean toward saying no. But Self also doesn’t foresee holding Peterson out of anything moving forward, unless something else happens, which puts the potential No. 1 pick in the 2026 NBA Draft in line to play Monday in the regular season opener against Green Bay inside Allen Fieldhouse.
