Nearly a third of Brits say they don’t have enough space at home for all their belongings. A recent poll found that 44% of adults are living with stress-inducing levels of clutter, while a quarter admit the chaotic state of their home leaves them too embarrassed to invite guests over.
On average, people have one room dedicated to storage, plus two additional rooms that end up being used for storage even though they’re intended for something else. The most common items cluttering up homes include clothes that don’t fit in wardrobes, stacks of documents and paperwork, and empty suitcases or travel bags.
