The deceased boy has been identified as Benjamin Thanglianhau.

A 11-year-old boy drowned in the Tuitha River at Zoumunnuam locality of Churachandpur district of Manipur this evening.

The deceased boy has been identified as Benjamin Thanglianhau.

As per inputs, Benjamin Thanglianhau accidentally fell into the river while taking a bath.

Despite efforts by locals to locate him, Benjamin was later found dead a short distance from where he had fallen.

He was a Class III student at VK Montessori School, Zenhang Lamka.
