S&P/TSX composite down in late-morning trading, U.S. markets mixed

TORONTO — Losses in technology, telecom and mining helped push the S&P/TSX composite index down in late-morning trading, while U.S. markets were mixed. The S&P/TSX composite was down 169.97 points at 30,090.77.
