A symbolic foundation post for the upcoming joint session of the Kamrup District Rabha Students’ Union, Rabha Mahila Parishad, and the Sixth Schedule Demand Committee was ceremonially erected at the Milaghat playground in Bamunigaon under the Boko-Chaygaon constituency on Monday, November 3. The two-day session is scheduled to be held on December 20 and 21.

The foundation post, contributed by villagers of Ouphula, was carried nearly one and a half kilometres to the venue with active public participation under the leadership of the Rabha Students’ Union. The event saw enthusiastic community involvement, reflecting the growing unity among Rabha organisations.
