ESPN trade rumor gives Vikings one less veteran quarterback deadline target
The Minnesota Vikings should be looking to add a veteran quarterback ahead of the trade deadline.
While J.J. McCarthy managed to bounce back in a big way in Week 9, the Vikings don't have a quality insurance policy for the young signal-caller just in case he struggles or gets injured again.
Their previous insurance policy, Carson Wentz, aggravated his shoulder injury in Week 8 and is out for the season.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that "league sources believe Minnesota could still make a move for a quarterback by Tuesday's deadline."
While many believe former Vikings and current Atlanta Falcons quarterback Kirk Cousins could be an option for Minnesota, it remains highly unlikel
