ALCORN COUNTY, Miss. — A woman says she was pulled over by a man she thought was an officer, then knocked unconscious on an Alcorn County Highway.
The woman told a deputy that she was driving east on Highway 72 at County Road 738 near Corinth early Thursday morning when a vehicle behind her turned on blue lights on its dashboard.
She said when she pulled over, a man in a dark shirt got out of the vehicle, approached her car and asked for her drivers license.
She felt something was "not right," so she activated her Life 360 SOS button, a device that sends alerts to emergency contacts.
At that point, she says the man hit her in the head with a flashlight, knocking her out. The next thing she remembered was waking up, and the man was gone.
