OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) - OKC Parks is marking the 50th anniversary of the Will Rogers Senior Center with a celebration on November 4.
According to OKC Parks, the Will Rogers Senior Center was Oklahoma City's first senior center.
“This golden anniversary is not just a celebration of our longevity but a tribute to the people who made it possible,” OKC Parks Director Melinda McMillan-Miller said.
The celebration is scheduled for Nov. 4 in honor of Will Roger's birthday. It will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the center located at 3501 Pat Murphy Dr.
The event is free and open to the public. Guests can look forward to music, activities and refreshments.
