Jammu, Nov 3: After a hiatus of four years, finally ‘Darbar’ moved back to the winter capital on Monday with a magnificent spectacle of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah ‘walking up’ to Jammu and the winter capital exuding glowing warmth in reciprocation.

This found manifestation in showering of flower petals, warm salutations, and beaming faces amid slogans and drum beats, pervading the air, right from the Chief Minister’s official residence at Wazarat Road up to Raghunath Bazar.

If this was the ambience on the Residency Road and Raghunath Bazar, the Civil Secretariat Jammu – the nerve centre of administration, too, was all decked up to welcome the Chief Minister, his Council of Ministers, senior officers, and the ‘Move employees.’

Layered security was in place across the city.
