Three Indian-origin men were among ten individuals arrested by Texas’ Irving Police Department last month (October 14) in a sting operation targeting prostitution and human trafficking.

The arrests are part of the department’s ongoing efforts to tackle exploitation and protect vulnerable members of the community, according to Irving Weekly report.

The three Indian-origin men have been identified as Sasi Kunchea (28), Sai Hemanth Maremalla (28) and Manoharachary Sriramula (30). All three are believed to be of Telugu origin.

According to Irving police department, the operation focused on curbing solicitation of prostitution, which is considered a serious criminal offence in the state of Texas.
