The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is back for its 99th year, kicking off the holiday season in New York City this month with its colorful floats and giant character balloons. The parade begins at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 27, featuring more than 5,000 volunteers, 32 balloons, three balloonicles, 27 floats, four specialty units, 33 clown groups, 11 marching bands, and a star-studded lineup of musical performances.
