Conservationists at the UK's Chester Zoo have welcomed two very special and rare new arrivals - Northeast African cheetah brothers, Kendi and Tafari.

The one-year-old siblings have arrived as part of an important conservation initiative to help safeguard their species from becoming extinct - with fewer than 500 remaining in the wild.

Northeast African cheetahs are one of the world’s rarest big cats and a stunning first set of images shows the moment the duo curiously and playfully explored their new home for the first time.
