Our work week will be fairly quiet weather-wise. As we get toward the weekend, colder air is going to plunge into Lower Michigan, eventually leading to some swaths of lake-effect snow. We could also see our first non-lake-effect snow showers anywhere in Lower Michigan by late in the weekend or next Monday.
Here is the surface weather forecast from this afternoon to next Monday.
We have three weather-makers in our future this week. Wednesday will have rain showers over northern Michigan in the morning, shifting into southern Michigan Wednesday afternoon. The showers over southern Michigan Wednesday afternoon will be spotty and light.
The next weather-maker will be a full-fledged cold front moving through Friday. This cold front should have a solid line of showers along it for all of us i
