Srinagar, Nov 03: Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Banihal, Sajjad Shaheen on Monday launched the macadamisation of two major road projects in Gool. He reaffirmed the National Conference government’s commitment to equitable and inclusive development across Jammu and Kashmir.
“A new era of development has begun in the Banihal–Gool constituency,” Shaheen said in a statement issued here.
The works include 2 km of the Gool Bus Stand–Salbala Road and the Grathmorh–Moila via Shamti Road, taken up at an estimated cost of ₹1.40 crore, while the Grathmorh–Moila via Shamti Road, covering 4 km, has been constructed at a cost of ₹9 crore under NABARD, greatly improving road connectivity and easing travel for residents of the area.
