TENNYSON, Wis. (WMTV) - Authorities arrested a 46-year-old man after they say he ran away from a traffic stop near Potosi.
The traffic stop occurred around 10:15 p.m. on Halloween night on Hwy 35/61, near Bunker Hill Street in the Village of Tennyson.
The Grant County Sheriff’s Office pulled over a white Chevrolet Silverado after the truck crossed the center line.
When a deputy pulled the truck over, a man, later identified as Benjamin Fowler of Lancaster, allegedly left his vehicle and ran away.
Fowler was later found at Twisted Vines Pub and Eatery in Potosi, where officials said he showed signs of impairment.
Officials arrested him for a 5 th offense OWI, bail jumping and resisting or obstructing an officer. Officials took him to the Grant County Jail.
