In the 67-year history of the Gold Glove award, only five pairs of pitchers and catchers had won Gold Gloves while playing for the same team. Logan Webb and Patrick Bailey just made it six.
Webb won his first Gold Glove and Bailey won his second straight for the 2025 season. Webb had seven defensive runs saved, which was the best total among National League pitchers this season. For the season, Webb allowed only nine stolen bases despite throwing the most innings and facing the most batters of any pitcher in baseball.
