One person died Sunday night in a house fire in Henderson, Kentucky, officials said.

The Henderson Police Department reported that officers from its agency and crews from the Henderson Fire Department were called to a fire on Millcreek Drive around 11:45 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 2.

A police officer broke a window in the front of the home, and crews were able to rescue two of the three people inside the home. The third person died, Henderson police said in a news release.

The name of the person who died has not been released. The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Henderson Fire Department.
