Larimer County’s annual tax lien sale is scheduled for 8 a.m. Nov. 20 at the county fairgrounds in Loveland.
This year, 1,804 real property accounts with a total of $4.74 million in delinquent taxes are expected to be part of the sale at the Thomas McKee 4-H Community Building at The Ranch, 5280 Arena Circle, according to a release from the Larimer County Treasurer’s Office.
The sale is held to collect unpaid taxes, according to the release. Liens on properties with unpaid taxes are offered to investors, who then earn interest in the amounts paid, according to a release.
Bidders must complete a W-9 form at registration or have one on file from a previous year.
Registration will open at 7:30 a.m. on Nov. 20, and the sale will begin at 8 a.m.
