Cincinnati-based First Financial Bank has completed its acquisition of Westfield Bank, making way for local branches to become First Financial locations.

The move is part of First Financial's larger, previously announced acquisition of Westfield Bank parent company Westfield Bancorp from the Ohio Farmers Insurance Company.

Westfield Bancorp is headquartered in Westfield Center, in Medina County.

Ohio Farmers Insurance Company is a global property and casualty insurance group that uses the customer-facing name of Westfield. It will continue to provide insurance services under that banner.

Westfield Bank has locations in Westfield Center, Fairlawn, Cuyahoga Falls, Medina, Jackson Township, Wooster and Brecksville.
