A 40-year-old man is charged with dangerous driving and assault with a weapon after two men clashed Saturday afternoon in Chatham.
A man drove a vehicle toward a 34-year-old Chatham man who was standing in a driveway, narrowly missing him before fleeing the scene around 2:30 p.m., Chatham-Kent police said.
The driver of the vehicle later returned and attempted to enter the residence.
One of the men raised an object in a threatening manner towards the other man, then fled before officers arrived.
A Chatham man was later arrested. He is charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, assault and assault with a weapon.
He was released with a Nov. 26 court date.
